Julia is an associate lawyer at Gionet Fairley Wood LPP and represents clients in construction, commercial and real estate disputes. Julia also has experience in tax litigation matters and seeks to further develop practice in this area.

Julia obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Western University, Faculty of Law (2022). There, she specialized in Business Law, gaining a solid foundation in the legal aspects of business. She actively participated in Western’s Tax Law Association as Vice President and honed her litigation skills through various moot court competitions.

Julia completed her articles at a reputable mid-sized, full-service firm in Toronto where she worked serving clients in general, and tax, litigation matters. Following her Call to the Bar in 2023, Julia returned to Barrie, her hometown, to provide tailored and outstanding legal services to her community. Julia’s approach to resolving her clients’ disputes is founded on a delicate balance between strong advocacy focused on individual client goals and the achievement of practical solutions through effective negotiation.

In her leisure time, Julia likes to stay active. She holds black belts in two different disciplines of martial arts, enjoy playing tennis, and skiing.
